Our job is to become an extension of your business as a marketing team for hire when you cannot afford a full-time marketing staff or have overflow work. We all get to know each other pretty well and adapt to your vibe very quickly, which allows us to fulfill your creative vision.
No. They’re yours. We don’t repurpose designs. If you’ve paid for the work product, then the work product belongs to you. We don’t hold your stuff hostage. It’s just unethical.
Think of us more like ringers to help you accomplish your goals without having to worry about sick days, vacation time, or more people using up those pesky coffee pods in the break room. We scale exactly to what you need, when you need it, regardless of size.
Because we’re a small business too and after decades in the boardroom, we know that not much gets accomplished when committees and multiple project owners are driving every decision. Those are not our people. The Small Marketing Agency is about giving SMB’s the same tools big companies use so we can help level the playing field. That’s even part of our slogan, “go small, grow big.” We're here to help SMB’s be more competitive.
The Small Marketing Agency is unabashedly a generalist firm, meaning we function very much like your primary care physician. We handle everything you need on a day-to-day basis, but if there are specialized needs, we have the partners we bring in to help accomplish your goals.
Absolutely not. We use the same SEO software, website platforms, social media tools, and design resources big agencies use, but because of our structure and focus, we can charge less. We’re virtual so we don’t have the brick-and-mortar overhead the bigger firms do. They use Adobe products and so do we. They use Canva and so do we. They use Constant Contact, SurveyMonkey, HubSpot, WordPress, Wix, and more... and so do we. With bigger agencies, you’re often paying for rent and break room snacks. We’re all virtual, so if you’re lucky you may get cat or dog taxed.
No. We have a thorough internal approval process that ends with the client signing off on all work product. We do not post anything to social media, your website, or anywhere else without your prior approval. Same goes for e-blasts, newsletters, and anything else we create on your behalf. Nothing. Nada. Zip. Nichts. It goes nowhere without your OK.
We love a challenge and have worked with nearly every kind of industry from dating services and mediation to landfill operations. Our philosophy is to go where the market takes us and over the years, environmental services, legal, healthcare, tech, nonprofits, and entertainment have become the source of most of our clients.
